Announcement of the Sweet Chemistry competition addressed to IChOrg students
If you love cooking and baking as much as chemistry, feel in the kitchen like Marie Curie-Skłodowska in her laboratory, and you use a rolling pin and mixer as skillfully as flasks and pipettes, then this competition is for you!
What do you have to do?
The task is simpler than the synthesis of cinnamic acid. All you have to do is bake a cake or cookies and decorate them with a chemical motif. It can be a chemical mechanism, a formula of chemical compounds, a molecular structure or anything else related to chemistry. Bring your baked goods on June 13, 2025 by 9:00 to the conference room in the old building of the Faculty of Chemistry A27. The Sweet Chemistry competition is organized as part of the 1st Graduate Day of the Institute of Organic Chemistry, and both master's and engineering graduates can take part in it. Don't wait until you pass your organic or physical chemistry exam! Look for an interesting recipe today, come up with an original chemical motif and show that chemists are the best cooks and confectioners. A prize is provided for the best decorated and tastiest baked goods.
